guys i have just finished rebuilding the front end of the old girl.
now tonight the new engine is going in .
brief description,
2 bolt main 350 has been modified to use splayed 4 bolt mains
scat forged stroker crank 383
scat h beam rods polished shotpeened magged
probe 11to1 pistomns file back ring
dart 220,thoroughly massaged,205 160 ferrera valves ,crane springs retainer and locks corwer stainles 1.6 r/rocker (camshaft xxxxxxxxxxx)
dart manifold massaged.big sump crank scraper windage try trapdoors and baffles full arp stud kit top to bottm weiand alloy w/pump gilmer drives.
carby still uncertain will run in with 750d/p most likely bg 850 rs
will post pics once its in

sounds good. i got the same (pretty close) and i got a demon 850dp on it, if you are gonna buy a carb i would go for a holley 850hp. much better, i had to use an impact screwdriver to get the original jets out of my demon and cleaned the swarf out of it.....

sounds good quik question how do you find the rack and pinion set up on your car? worth buying or not

its okay i wouldnt rave about it but when i bought mine it was a proto type so maybe they are better and i hear they have power assisted racks now. gives plenty of clearance and no bump steer pretty positive steering just a bit tight on the spot.

my new engine has an hi energy pan ,do you think it might clear this or will it need to be modified(i hope not)

oh yeah i modified mine just scallopped it then me mate tigged it (tried mig, trust me tig is good) here is a dodge photo of it.
this was mk2 of the sump as i got a new 4 bolt block and it had the dipstick on the wrong side.. late model. when i did it about 2 years ago i think i had the donk in and out 3 times:confused:
