guys, im chasin sum LHD headers or extractors for my 69 camaro. They MUST be to suit 'angle plug heads' as i have modified straight plug ones which just dont work with the plugs and leads. (melting em') I am RHD but i will get em bent round steering on one side. No junk please.
Cheers,
Gav

If you see a guy in a RHD blue/white stripe 69 Z28 (real) ask him if it's still got the 292 turbo heads and if you can take a look.
That's if he's at Castle hill next Sunday, I just cant remember what they were, They were OZ made, Pacemakers maybe ?
He may have put the stock heads back on by now but he may still have the headers, you never know.

They are Pacemakers. They suit SBC but i'm not 100% sure in what car or what options (AC, power etc). From the Pacemaker website it says that all thier SBC tuned length headers (which these are) suit angle plug heads. Thier Tri-Y style headers don't suit angle plug heads.

I had a bit of a look and the left side would work but right side would need a lot of changes , its so tight with the steering box used on conversion.

There pretty similar , one side ok but lots alterations to drivers side.
We had two goes at rebuilding of pipes before they fitted up. That was without the plugs in new alloys .. Then after the 2nd jethot coat ($450 each time )we realized we got angle plugs , what a tool !:( So there on and burning the crap out of my leads . Theres always sumthin !

Have you tried the "shorty" type spark plugs. They are about 10mm shorter than standard and might give you enough clearance.

Hey Tom, i have tried them but still not accsesible enuf to keep leads from burning the tops.. Im gonna try a set of 1 3/4 pacemakers(3005s?) to suit a RHD chev into HG set after talking to the pacemaker techs. There as close as i can get to what im after. Im sure they will still need modifying .
$780 a set !! so i better get it right this time.

just save all the hassles and put a big block in there... :)
or ditch the steering box that is making it so hard for you, and expensive, and convert it to a rack and pinion setup.
