SBC into '58 cadillac???

as some mite know by now ibought a cadillac... engine is a 365ci but is running a little tired...thinking of throwing a sbc chev into it running either EFI or carb.
would the engine be a straight fit?

seriously though, there is a slight knocking and the engine is breathing abit.. pretty much like an asthmatic :s so if it comes to the crunch just do the rings, pistons a makeover stylin'
