12 bolt prices

Guys , i have found a nice 12 bolt 69 housing , blasted , painted and very pretty. He wants $1200 for it. I would need axles , centre and gears ? Are these all readily available and how much would the full set up end up costing?

I'll have a good used set of GM 410-1 gears to suit a 3 series carrier soon for $300. If interested PM me.

Thanx for reply , but may be a little low gearing for me , im going for around a 3.55 ratio.
Is the housing worth buying for this price ? Im trying to work out if it would be better to try and wait for a complete unit ? I got no idea how much this diff stuff is worth.

Moser sell a complete 12 Bolt from around US$2000.
OK, so our dollar sucks right now, but $1200 for a housing, plus gears, plus axles, plus bearings, plus a carrier and does it have the correct spring pearches for your Camaro?..

The complete unit looks like a reasonable deal after all.
That's what I intend to buy when I am ready to.

Rebuilt original 12 bolts to suit first gen camaro with posi and your choice of ratio are available for 1800 USD. Factor in some shipping and that gives you an idea of what they are worth.
