Ricks sells a DSE kit to convert 1st gen camaro from mono to multil leaf.

If you have any questions I can put you in contact with Kelley, one of the tech specialists at Ricks.
On the 12 bolt, from personal experience you have your work cut out for you finding one here. They are around in the US but getting harder to find.
Have you had a look at the Moser 12 bolts?

The spring plates are purely to get the rear lower, i purchace the hotchkis kit and all fits nice but mono leaf shock mount is extremely close to rims (17s). THe multi plate moves the mount up an inch and a bit i believe. So i can drop the arse another inch with small blocks.
No i havnt checked the mosers out, are they available in oz or do i have to bring one over?

You also have to be careful with the back space on the rear. I bought a set of 20s with a 4.75 back space looks awsome but really close to shock mount, and mine has multi plate. How far are you going down ?

I do want to get it nice and low, ive got hotchkis rear leafs 1 1/2 lower , running 17s .The shock mount is about 3mm off the wheel balnce weights on inside of rim. I did use the original mono leaf and shock mounts. On the US camaro site it said you would gain 1 to 1 1/2 more clearance. I want to come down an inch or a tad less.
PS , i ended up using the pedders bigblock coils on front, I cut half a coil off the first set i bought and sat it on the rubbers, that was a lesson learned.
Maybe drop spindles next ?

I learned that lesson too with the coils after about 4 sets i ended up just running the pedders big block coils with no cutting and sits good, about 15 mm from bump stops.
I think the part number was 2090 from memory.

Yep , thats the part no, id like an inch lower if i could , im thinkin bout the spindles now , but i guess you would have to lift it a tad to compensate for the 2inch drop. All fun and games i tell ya :p

If you do decide to lift the front i found the pedders small block coils about an inch higher than what we have now so that would sit good with 2 inch drop spindles. I was thinking about changing too but with 18s on the front it sits ok, with 17s might be a little different.
