1966 Chevrolet Belair 4 Door Sedan. Original Australian RHD car.
Aluminium RHS Headed 454 Big Block Chev Engine custom built by Oddy’s Racing Engines in the USA. Best of everything in it. Dart block, Callies crank, Oliver rods, Jessel rockers etc etc etc. Engine dyno sheets for 580hp. Chassis dyno 380rwhp through high stall with tyre smoking (pre LSD) at recent dyno day. Aluminium Radiator. Extractors and full three inch twin exhaust system.
Turbo 700 gearbox built by Bob Grant in Qld and freshened by DTM here with Fremantle Torque Convertors 3000 RPM stall
12 Bolt Diff with new Eaton Posi with 3.55 gears
Castlemaine Rod Shop disc brake conversion on the front.
Former Show car built in the 90’s in QLD and has had recent mechanical refurb/rebuild. Firewall filled. Engine Bay painted. Fasteners are chrome or stainless throughout the car.
Repainted about 15 years ago and still in reasonably good condition.
Rego till March 2009. Car was regoed as it is and the engine number on the block matches the papers.
$38,000 or very near offer.
