Quite a few Chevy wagons there, they grabbed my attention in amongst all the hard tops and sedans, especially the '57 Nomad

It just wouldn't be "the Picnic" without a whole heap of flatheads

There were lowriders.... and how 'bout that! one of them is a Buick;)

Some very cool and wild rides there, love the look of that '57 gasser. I don't mind your bias towards Buick's either OzRiv as some of them look very cool, especially one's with gold teeth :D

Love your write up and pics. Quite entertaining....
There is a nice Fiat Toppolino here in Perth. Seems to reside at the Motorplex for some reason... Has a Quad Cam Toyota V8 in it too, with bright orange paint work and the same rims i think?

The reason it spends a lot of time at the 'plex, is cos it belongs to the General Manager down there.... :)
Very nice, well built car too....

I was damn close to buying this car 2 yers ago.
Original Australian RHD delivered Camaro (not many of them) with a 427. Guy who owns it bought it but block had been blown up and thrown (damn).
It currently runs a blown 502. Rear leafs were screwed when I looked at it.
We haggled for 3-4 days. He really really didn't want to sell it (he has 2 other Camaro's inc a black with ghost flames).
In the end he was after $80K. I said OK, done...but he just didn't want to sell it.
Paint job is like a bowling ball style paint, very nice. Interior is white and orginal and needed a tidy up.
In the end I decided it was an awesome car but not exactly what I wanted, he may have sold if I had pushed the price up, but thought screw it lets spend 4 times that and build one the exact way I want it.
None the less this is one awesome Camaro....

That would be me :)
I see a few familiar faces around here...
