Chip sounds like a top bloke, have read a fair few stories of people meeting him and hanging out or Chip actually going to fans houses to look at their cars after meeting him at a shop opening/fan day/etc.
Some nice cars there...

.... and isn't his workshop just soooo easy to find????
It was our last day on mainland USA, and before we went and dropped the Riv off at the shippers, we went for a drive along the coast (seeing all those oil drilling platforms from the beach is a bit freaky) , had lunch at Ruby's on the pier and headed for the Foose workshop. We had the address plugged into the GPS and still managed to drive past it 3 times before we spotted the sign by the office door.
Wish he had been there the day we visited the workshop.
The P32 is one hell of a cool car

:) Lucky for us he was out the front with his old man unloading, singer, Tim Mcgraw's oldsmobile to be foosed. We parked in front of Lanzinis a couple of factory's down.
He's secretary real nice too gave us a bunch of stickers and a couple of foose hats.
Went to boyds as well, real nice workshop. no Boyd though, got stuck talking to Dwayne, just as rude as on Tv.:D

Foose is open for us common people to visit between 12.00pm and 1.00pm mon-fri :D Address 17811 Sampson Lane, Huntington Beach C.A.
Really worth the visit if Foose is there, loves talking to Aussie's.
If your lucky he will let you look at his next ridler car, hidden out the back, Quad cam v8, porche rear end, no photos allowed of it though.
Boyds workshop is open every 2nd Saturday 9 until 12, dozen cars on display, look around workshop, worth it. When I went there, We got stuck talking to Duane, he's a turd in real life.
Address 811 east Lambert Rd, La Habra CA, next to the train line.:D

I envy you getting to meet a legend like Chip Foose.
Did you go to Boyd's before or after he passed away?
We are planning a trip to canada and US next year but if the $ keeps heading South we may have to save more.

We went to Boyds while he was alive, but he was sick on that day, pity.
If your going to the U.S. book everything on the net before you go, even car hire. we use Dollar rent a car they seem to be the cheapest, got a 4 door charger last year for $15 usd a day plus tax and unlimited miles over 3 weeks, dont let them talk you into all the insurances they have, dont turn up without a booking you'll never get a car, only top of the line, starting at $60 a day.:D

We have met Chip twice now, once in 2000 while at a car show in Garden Grove when he invited our group back to his shop the following day. We were there for about 3 hours and he ended up ordering pizzas for lunch. Great guy, he is so humble and so talented! The second time (last year) we went to the shop between 12 and 1pm and he was there again, and he actually remember us! Dennis, the pinstripper on Overhaulin was there and he gave us the address to where they were filming Overhaulin so we wondered along to have a look and got met everyone on the set. What a Buzz!!
