Cruzin For A Cure 2008 on 2nd November

Cruzin For A Cure 2008 will be held on 2nd November.

All money raised will be donated to The Millennium Foundation to be held in the “Peter Moore Trust” as part of a capital fundraising initiative for brain tumor research.

Pete chose the The Millennium Foundation as the beneficiaries of his trust due to their innovative “Bench to Bedside” philosophy of finding cures and saving lives. We expect this to be a long-term fundraising venture that will enable the expansion of current viral and genetic research to be applied to the effective treatment of malignant tumors. The Millennium Foundation also devotes significant resources to other areas of cancer research such as leukemia that Pete also suffered with.

The cruise will meet 9.30am at UWS Parramatta carpark (cnr Victoria Rd & James Ruse Dr) with entry to the carpark being from Victoria Rd. We will then depart at 10.00am to head out to Camden Airport where there will be raffles, trade displays, peoples choice award, DJ, BBQ, cold drinks, jumping castle & a live band.

Entry will be $5 per car payable at Camden Airport.

would love to support this cause!!! but being in Melbourne it really isn't an option! Hats off to the people spending their time and effort for such a fantastic cause.

Yeah i went last year a found it to be an excellent run and day. I only hope the weather is nice and everybody turns up to support this great cause.Last year they had Polair give a display and also a tour through all the hangars and planes.
