Hi, can anyone help with how to adjust door that seems to bind just before closing? Lines and gaps are good but seems to spring near shutting position, Door has to be slammed to close. Thanks Andrew

Try adjusting the striker bolt

It Binds Before You Get To The Striker, Could The Hinges Bind On Them Self. Thanks Andrew

Is it binding on the door seal at the front of the door?
Are the door seals new?
If so, it will take some time for the rubbers to compress a bit.

Yeah, possibly if they're coroded or haven't been lubricated in a while, try some silicone spray on the hinges

Thanks Fellers, It Does Have New Seals & The Hinges Are New, But Its Realy Springy. The Drivers Door Is The Same But Closes Ok.

I Also Found Another Item That Is I Need To Connect The Kick Down Cable To Th Carb. Is There Any Speacial Brackets You Can Buy. Its A Turbo 350 To A Edelbrock Carb. Thanks Andrew

What sort of throttle cable bracket do you have though?

How are the door hinge pins? Can you lift the door/s while they are open? Any movement?
Worn hinge pins are common place with this era of American 2-door and replacement kits are readily available if need be..
