Do you have to have a new flywheel and clutch assembly balanced when fitting to a new engine ?? Application is strictly street.

Do you have to have a new flywheel and clutch assembly balanced when fitting to a new engine ?? Application is strictly street.

For those interested I found out it is considered best practice to balance the flywheel and the clutch. Took mine to Crankshaft Rebuilders in Blackburn. My engine came with a flex plate which was balanced to the crank from the factory. They will use this as a reference. He even wanted the bolts which will be marked for assembly is assure the match is to the balance
