67cammy,
Those back indicator lights are real interesting. I am considering doing the same as people dont seem to notice my stock red lenses when turning. Even had some moron abuse me !
What sort did you use? Are they fitted to the bumper brackets ? Love a close up photo

They are advertised in most of the Hot Rod magazines ( Australian ). They come in different sizes and these are the small ones. Yep I just made up a flat bracket that bolted through the bumper bracket. Here's your photos :)

Don't tell me SA law requires amber turns signals too?
Here in Victoria a red turn and flashing brake lamp are acceptable and legal for pre ADR vehicles. (Pre Jan 1969 build date)
In other words, no modifications required.

Yes they are. Only if the car has been converted to right hand drive though. Left hand drive cars are to be kept completely stock and can have red indicators. What difference it makes to anything I dont know.

Thanks a lot. I going to do that, although my car is registered this is a good safety feature.

Gotta agree with adding extra indicators.
Really odd that SA wont allow a higher level of safety with modern coloured indicators etc.
On my 68 I changed the white rears to Orange for indicators, installed white LED reversing lights inside the white lenses, changed the side markers to orange indicators, and changed the front park/indicators to orange indicators too.
Next step is to convert the brake and running rears to red LED's, rear indicators to LED's, side markers to marker/indicators, and same for the front. All LED and bright. Plus a high level in the rear window.
I dont want this car run into because some clown  could not see it, especially from the side when turning.
Have a good week! :D
