thanks guys.
i'm thinking about mini tubbing it, putting some 15x10 Weld Racing Draglites on it, 15x4's on the front. Mabye a beasty 600hp crate motor. Just wanna get it on the road first though.
oh, i ordered a front spoiler for it, to complete the Z28 theme. was also thinking about pipes out the side..

Any updates for this bad boy?
still at the mechanics:mad:
had the front rotors, pads, lines replaced. just about every bush in the car, upper control arm and the list goes on. car was pinging, so she got new leads, plugs, service etc. runs nice and strong. waiting to get a few minor parts fixed, ie window winders, fuel gauge and horn, then rego, then slamming it, then putting bigger rubber, then cruising! :D

How far are you going to go with the Z28 theme?
Does it have a 302 or DZ-looking SBC? (..and Z28s were never autos)
Nice car. Is that a dusk blue?

JJ, The ride height looks perfect.
The wheels look good, are you still looking at the Weld draglites?
You should get the Mustang owner to lower a bit too. It's a nice looking car but a little too high (IMO)
Good to see a mix of US muscle and Oz muscle
Rgds,
Nev
Thanks Nev, the muzzy is actually in the process of getting a full resto. It looks good in the pics but the paint job was pretty bad.
Yeah still thinking about the Weld's, i wanna mini tub it eventually.. Just run out of $$$ for the time being. I am happy with it for the momnent, will prob just enjoy it this summer and throw some $$ at it next winter.

I hear you about the $$$.
I just got a huge quote to build my 10 bolt.
I think some people see a US car and then think the owner is an ATM.
I hope I can drive mine this summer, starting to look doubtful though.

thanks guys. was planning on a big block crate, now that the ozzy dollar has tanked thats out of the question. looking at a procharger for the 350 in it, then get the 350 rebuilt once it goes bang with the procharger. But i'll need stronger diff, box etc.

But every one is going BB! why not a 454 sbc sound wild as and you can ring its head off to nearly 8000 rpm.
Build it for pro charger and you will see 700 - 800 hp.

he used these suctions cups on the body of the car, then a pole with the camera mounted to the pole, he then chops the rig out when formatting the pics.
we had a bit of trouble getting the pics, some were blury, as there was a fair bit of vibration through the car.

just spoke to him. for a shoot like mine would be $400, which gives you access to all the shots in high res (without watermarks)
i asked him about a group shoot, and depending on what everyone wanted, is something he could work out. i reckon a group shoot would be unreal.

And think what kinda muscle you could have as a GENUINE daily driver (reliable, bulletproof, mod-cons, reasonable on fuel) with that cash + sale of the Porsche.
Even though I know the latter has family links, if you're gonna have 'just' one car, why not make the most of it! Something to think about.
Temporarily sad times, but congrats on the ultra-quick sale mate.
