Took your advice(from another forum) and got my 4 quart oil pan modified. Haddad made it into a 7 liter version for me. Thanks for the tip, should be plently of oil now for the 502. Have to change the pick up and hopefully the windage tray will still fit.
I would have always been worried about it whenever I gave the BB a serve :eek:

Yes, I remember..
'Glad you're adding plenty of volume. It's good insurance.
Nothing worse than killing an engine and doing a costly rebuild for the sake of a liter or two.. ;)
