Hi Guys,
just a very quick question, has anyone replaced a roof skin on a 1st gen before? After removing the very thick primer, found rust along the former vinyl roof seams (vinyl was removed before purchasing the car). Other than the rust in the passenger rear floor pan, the car is very rust free, or so I thought. Not suprised though, I mean 40 years old! Anyway, other than lead seams, it looks pretty straight forward. Any advice on pitfalls etc would be very much appreciated, cheers, James
