thanks guys, as i said, dont give a rats how much it costs, every nook and cranny will get it. if it comes out half as good as it looks in the brochure, i will be rapped.

If you have a nice flat surface to put it down onto... it comes out so flat its not funny... you brush it on and it flattens out!! Amazing stuff

Sir Geo did you brush or spray your POR15 on?

Cheers.

I brushed it on.. after it hardened one of my brushes (like rock hard) i didn't want to destroy a gun..

It self levels and comes up pretty smooth, i did it a bit better in my boot and thats nice and shiny.. but my floor pan could use a quick rub down :p

I plan on spraying over it anyway with some 2K, so i wasn't too fussed... But in general it's ok to leave it as is as long as it's not in direct UV light, as apparently it doesn't like that..

I also did my floor pan with it to seal it up and then applied the C-gaurd over it! End result :D :D :D

Thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback. I had not used it on any surface that gets looked at yet - just used it to seal up surface rust in hard to get to areas. Believe it or not I have used it as a glue to stick my grill back together. It is as sticky as all hell. Gets on everything. Turps cleans it off while wet - nothing gets it off once its dry. Even acetone.

Supposedly my front end as been done in industro 2 pack urethane, but it is not remotely near as tough as POR15. Scratches easy as hell. Should 2 pack be this weak or am I expeecting too much.

Edit: I just found a similar product engineered and made in Australia. Ad was in Just Cars mag. They also have semi gloss black and a few other colors in the actual "Rust Seal" paint. Spoke to the guy on the phone, they have a 1800 number. He was very helpful - I now understand the difference between this and regular two pack and how it works/why it is so tough. Will get some of the semi gloss and try it.

Lower cost too...even delivered.

End edit....
