Hi,
I am a new memeber and have just bought my first camaro, it is a 69 ss camaro and dont like the size of the wheels currently on it ( to small ) 16 x 8 front and back with i think 4 inch backspace, the fronts are 245 50 16 and rears are 255 50 16 they fit well and dont scrap but i want to change them. What style looks cool on 69 camaros and does any one know what size and back space could i fit. I have heard you can fit a 20 x 10 with 5.5 inch back space on the rear with a 275 35 20.
any help would be great cheers.:)

I can vouch for 20's on a 69 they definately fit... but the front youd have to be careful with your offset and width...
Here is 69 we recently worked on.......

Cheers for the picture do you have any from the side on. I was thinking of 20 x 8 for the rear with 255 35 20 and for the front 18 x 8 with 235 40 18 with the rear backspace 4.5 inch and the front around the same do you think this would work. What size where the rims and tyres you fitted to the camaro in the photo do you know the backspace. this info would be great.

Dillon,
Welcome, if that's your 69 in your avartar man that looks very cool.
I like Steve have no idea. But don't know if you've seen these 2 forums:
www.pro-touring.com
www.camaros.net
The Pro-touring forum has these questions all the time and if you jump up there and do a search I bet you will find the answer

Ihave the same Question for my 68? From what i can work out with my trusty tape the biggest i can go is 18's with a real low profile tyre at best without bending or cutting anything, Hope some one can prove me wrong? Would like to go bigger

I had 22's on the back of mine with just a little cutting and mounting the shocks inboard of the springs. ( got over the look and sold em though ) I had 20x8.5's on the front and had to add about 15mm to the steering stop to stop em from rubbing on the chassis.. oh yeah and they were 22x8.5 on the back with 265/35 and looked like a 10" rim to some people.
Cheers
