I went around there at the end of last year no luck.

I found one in Melb.and had it sent up and but had some cracks in it. The seller thought it was normal as the three other 59's he had were the same. When I spoke to him he said he would check again. I rang 3 days later and he told me that he pulled one from a 60 chev and had sent it the previous day.
But I had already had one from a 60 chev it looks the same but is 20mm shorter.
59 parts are hard to come by here in OZ even some parts are hard to find in the US.. Make sure you buy a complete 59 with no missing parts. Unlike the 55-57 chevs which all parts are reproduced.

Good info... I'll do exactly that... the camaro's been hard enough.. well hard enough in the sense that anytime you need something you gotta buy it from the USA and wait and pay $$ shipping etc... and that's when the parts are all repro'd.... I cant imagine exactly what you'd go through. :o

This here is what I want!!!... well my wife too ;) so you know it HAS to happen;)

My belair was complete had to change two pices of chrome on the bonnet. Took me two years to find a decent sent. I was lucky I found some NOS ones cost an arm leg and shoulder.
Thats a sharp looking 59. Was that pic taken in Australia? If you have your wife on board then your are on your way.
Have you compared that to a two door impala. The roof line is lower by about 2 inches looks way cool.

Are you reffering to a bubble top impala?? I love those too!

That car pictured is actually on ebay at the moment......
