Floor is just sitting in the ready for welding and needed no trimming. Took the door off and went straight in.
You can see the patches at the driver and passenger feet area and inside sills . Also into the boot area. New boot is already welded in along with new chassis rails.
Next is new outside sills, some work around the Radiator support then prep for paint.
Was a bit upset about the condition and rust as bits where pulled off but happy now and glad I went full floor instead of pieces. At least I know the job is done and its rust free. The forward of the firewall is good and the front rails and guards are fine

Your mate did a great job on the floor. Whilst it's all fresh in his mind, does he want to do mine? ;)

How much of a drama was the floor to do? I have to do the same in my 68 and it sounds a bit daunting at the moment....

I am really glad about going to a full floor, but time has dulled the pain. I think the job is better and you can do a full seam weld strengthening the car
