Guys
I want to do a Drum to Disc brake conversion on my 69 Camaro. However the current set up is not power assist. Do I really need a booster  Dont care if the leg effort is a bit tougher as used drive old Group A racecars without assist with no problem
Anyone use Disc brakes on the street without a booster

When I rang wilwood about it (I am running wilwoods) they said no you don't need to install one and that it will be fine without it......... I am going to run a booster I would feel more comfortable......and they are not too much money at all.:)

Yeah i am, power assisted is overrated :D I'm about to pull my factory disks of and replace them with something from CPP.....when they get back to me with a quote.
