I posted this on calais turbo and thought i'd put it up here too...
Not sure if anyone saw this on the news.. but it brought a tear to my eye..
Here's the Herald Sun report (http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,21458801-2902,00.html?from=public_rss)..
COMEDIAN Eddie Griffin crashed a rare Ferrari Enzo worth $1.85m into a concrete barrier yesterday, ruining the car but escaping without injury.
The comedian was rehearsing for a charity race to promote his upcoming film, Redline, when he drove too fast around a curve at the Irwindale Speedway in California and smashed into a divide.
Video footage showed the red sports car screeching before it ricocheted off the barrier, suffering heavy damage to its front.
Only 400 Ferrari Enzos were ever produced, all between 2002 and 2004.
And the Vid attached... HERE (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/sirgeo/Ferrari/ferrarismash.wmv) - 2.38 Mb
